This was a gentle travel day, starting at 0955 hrs. – with no certain destination.  We were aiming for Rochester, MN – but had no confirmed campground for the night.

Driving through farmland, washed bright green by the rains and storms from last night, it was a beautiful landscape.  An audiobook provided background entertainment for an uneventful drive.

As usual, God provided for us yet again.  I called and was able to secure a campsite for the night – this one had to have full hook-ups because it is our last stop before the airshow.  This means we have to dump all our holding tanks and fill our freshwater tank to last for 9 days.  No worries – tasks accomplished.

Temps were in the high 90’s, we decided it was too hot to cook, and checked out a local restaurant for supper.  An evening walk around the park (several times) helped me get my mileage and steps in.
